Public Library says hello to summer with books for sale at the Center City Green Market
Charlotte, NC – May 28, 2008 – Nothing says summer better than an afternoon filled with sun-ripened fruit and vegetables, old fashioned baked goods and great books.
You’ll get all three at the Bumper Crop Book Sale presented by Novello Festival Press and the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County (PLCMC). The book sale will be featured at the Center City Green Market on Saturday, June 14 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market is located on Seventh Street between College and Brevard streets.
All Novello Festival Press titles will be half off the cover price and shoppers will find great book bargains at a special $1, $2, and $3 table. There will also be a free gift basket drawing.
Summer also brings another opportunity to read, Summer Reading for adults. Kick off your shoes, relax and read starting June 11. Log your books online with an opportunity to win great prizes such as Novello Festival of Reading tickets, passes to the Mint Museum and Museum of the New South plus much more.
