Release your inner writer! Take a free creative writing workshop at the Public Library
Charlotte, NC – June 4, 2008 – Do you ever wish you could write, but believe you can’t? Are you a seasoned writer with many publications, yet feel blocked from meaningful work? Somewhere in the middle?
The Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County (PLCMC) will offer a series of free creative writing workshops at four library locations this summer and fall. Conducted with the Amherst Writers & Artists Method, these sessions support wish-to-be writers as well as published professionals. Writer-in-residence, certified AWA leader Ellen Judith Reich, will lead these workshops. Reich is a certified leader using this gentle, supportive, generative process. More information about Reich is available at www.EllenJudithReich.com.
The workshops are for adults only and are limited to 12 participants each. Registration is required. To sign up, please call or register in person at the library you wish to attend. Bring your favorite writing tools. You will leave nourished and energized.
