Monday, March 2, 2009 (Charlotte, NC) – All branches of the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County will be closed today, Monday, March 2, 2009, due to inclement weather conditions. If conditions do not worsen, normal hours of service are anticipated to resume the following day. Customers are encouraged to check the library’s website at www.plcmc.org for updates on potential changes to branch service hours.

A decision to reduce library hours of operation when inclement weather occurs is made with the safety of library employees and the public in mind. If the library system closes for a day, or any part of a day, library customers do not have to pay fines for that day.
