Tickets are available now for Dorothea Benton Frank, the author of many books including Sullivan’s Island, The Land of Mango Sunsets, and her latest, Return to Sullivan’s Island. Through a special partnership with Park Road Books, Frank will stop by the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County as part of her Harper Collins book tour on July 8.

The ticket price of $25 includes her book, Return to Sullivan’s Island, Frank’s presentation and a chance to win an overnight stay in Historic Charleston.

With plans for the library’s annual Novello Festival of Reading uncertain due to Mecklenburg County budget constraints; this collaboration with Park Road Books is a way to bring quality authors to the community while encouraging a love of books and reading.
