Library Volunteers are urgently needed Aug. 24 to 29
WHO: The Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County (PLCMC)
WHAT: An opportunity to make a difference in our community. In response to a growing need in Mecklenburg County, the library has launched a new initiative aimed at helping people find jobs. This initiative will include a new Job Center in uptown’s Main Library. Volunteers are needed to help move books and other items to make room for the new center.
WHEN: Volunteers needed Aug 24 - 29
• 1st shift-9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• 2nd shift-1 p.m. to 4p.m.
• 3rd shift-4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Since its founding in 1903 as a Carnegie Free Library, PLCMC has provided community service and outreach to the citizens of the Charlotte area.
