Exact Phrase Search
If you choose "Exact Phrase Search", this search tool will attempt to find only exact matches on the term or terms that you entered. If you do not choose "Exact Phrase Search", this tool will find the term or terms that you entered within any part of a title. It will automatically search for the terms as individual keywords truncated with an "*" and with the operator "and" between terms. (Entering your own search operators such as wildcards and quotations will not work here.)
Examples:
Entering the word "Children" will search for "Children*" and find magazines such as "Children's Surprises" and "Carolina Children"
Entering the phrase "Business Journal" will search for both "Business*" and "Journal*" therefore, both "Business Journal: Serving Charlotte & the Metropolitan Area" and "Journal of Business" will be found.
