The Plaza Midwood Library is located on the corner of The Plaza and Central Avenue. We are proud to be a part of the rebirth of this popular neighborhood and business district. We serve a diverse population that makes for a lively and interesting atmosphere.

The library has online and print reference resources that provide homework help for students and general information for everyone.

Our branch offers programs for all ages including a book club for adults, ESL classes, and special programs throughout the year. Programs are offered for all ages of children including babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and older children. Check our program listing for detailed information.

Our popular library collection offers the latest best sellers, videos, DVDs, music CDs, books on tape, and books on CD. All items throughout the library system, except rental best sellers, may be placed on hold.

Plaza Midwood has 19 computers for public use. All of the computers may be used to find books or online research information. Twelve of them also have Internet access, and word processing, four have word processing only, and three for catalog access. Same day reservations for Internet may be made at the branch with a valid library card. WiFi Internet access is available for laptop owners.

To meet the needs of our local Spanish and Vietnamese residents, we have special collections in both languages. Included are books, magazines, videos, DVDs, and music CDs. We also have books, tapes, and videos to learn English. Classes for beginning English and intermediate English are available each week. Check our program listings for more information.

Many of our programs are held in the community room, which seats 40 people theater style or 25 when seated at tables. It may also be reserved by community groups and organizations. Call to the branch to reserve the room.
