The West Boulevard Library is known throughout the community for its commitment to quality programming and service. With more than 12,000 square feet, West Blvd. Branch Library and Learning Resources Center is many times the size of the small facility it replaces. The branch’s mission is to reach out to the community creatively to bring users into the library and then to offer the broadest and best range of collections, programs, and computer resources to meet the user’s informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs. Through innovative programming and the informational resources offered, the West Blvd. Library continues to serve its diverse community.
The Popular Library showcases the most recent materials including bestsellers for lending or renting; videos; music CDs; adult paperbacks; and Audiotape Books. The Popular Library is conveniently located near the main entrance of the library. This collection has something for everybody

The West Blvd. Children Services team is dedicated to providing stimulating books and great programs to foster and promote reading in children of all ages and cultures. Along with creative programming, West Blvd. offers lively story times for toddlers and preschoolers, homework assistance, professional services and an array of electronic products to assist with research.

- School-Agers - Wednesdays at 11:00 am
The Information Services Department is equipped to assist patrons of all ages with their informational needs by providing quality and professional reference services. The reference collection includes print and non-print materials. The wide range of resources can support homework assignments and other educational needs to enhance lifelong learning. There are twenty-six computers available with Internet access, word processing, and other electronic materials. Free instruction classes are offered on the use of the Internet and word processing. Adults programs, including the monthly Book Club have been designed to meet the community’s needs.
West Blvd. has a large community room which is available for public use, one conference room, two private study areas and ample reading/study areas.
