Once Upon a Time in the West: Great Hollywood Westerns (and one Italian)
From the moment movies first began to tell stories, the exploits of the Old West have had a favored place with filmmakers and audiences alike. Come to ImaginOn’s beautiful Wachovia Playhouse (stadium-style seating, air conditioning, big screen, optimal sound) for 9 weeks of FREE westerns. Highlights of the series will include silent classics with live musical accompaniment, a Roy Rogers double feature, an Italian western, and even a “feminine western” with Joan Crawford (!). All that, plus John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, and Charlotte’s very own Randolph Scott. Saddle up, and join us at ImaginOn’s Wachovia Theater (300 East Seventh Street). This beautiful theater seats 250 in stadium-style seating, and is equipped with optimum film projection and sound.
Each movie will play following a brief introduction by Sam Shapiro, Manager of Main Library’s Movies & Music Room.

On-Site Parking:
Parking is available in the parking deck below our building, and the first 90 minutes are free for ImaginOn patrons during regular hours of operation. Please have your parking stub validated at the Check Out Desk.

The deck can be accessed from Sixth Street, and there is direct elevator access from the parking deck to our lobby.
