The Kapiti Plain in Kenya is a sea of
grass shaded by acacia trees. There's
more than enough of everything for
every creature -- giraffes, leopards,
and birds. Even the herdsman Ki-pat and
his cattle have plenty. But one year,
the rain doesn't fall for a long, long
time. Bringing the Rain to Kapiti
Plain is great survival tale from
the Nandi people of Africa.

This book is a comical take on bugs and
their lives as "gross" insects. A
collage of sentences and words describe
these little creatures. After reading
this book, you may decide to be very
careful when eating lunch, playing
outside, sleeping on the floor, or
swimming in a lake or pond. Bugs are
everywhere, so
be very careful where you go. If
you don't believe it, read this book
and watch out for those
creepy critters!

Sarah's Dad is doing everything he can
to get her out of bed. It's her first
day at her new school and there's no
doubt that she's dreading it! In fact,
she's already decided that she hates
it. After Dad puts his foot down, Sarah
rolls out of bed and stumbles into her
clothes. When they pull up in front of
the school, Sarah is greeted by none-
other than the principle. Will Sarah
survive her first day? Both children
and adults will be delighted at the
surpise ending!
