Audience: Toddlers, Preschool
Category: Read Aloud (This book has outstanding illustrations)

Harry is a very slow tortoise.
He is so slow that he can’t seem to
make any friends. All the animals he
meets act as if they are too fast to
stop and play
with him. Where can Harry find a
friend who is as slow as he is? Find
out what happens when Harry meets his
match. This great
book reminds us that there is always a
perfect friend for everyone.
The watercolor and ink illustrations
are nice and bold.

A toddler's world is full of big people
who can do everything. Join a little
girl who copies her family members as
they perform daily activities. Her
persistence and the support of loved
ones allows her to be successful at
everything she attempts, such as
pouring juice and holding a book. Bold,
colorful illustations move the story
along, as do the toddler's own
words, "I can do it too!"
