Mrs. LaRue's dog, Ike, is misbehaving.
So she does the unthinkable-sends him
to Brotweiler Canine Academy, an
obedience school for dogs. Ike is SO
hurt that Mrs. LaRue would even
consider the idea of sending him away.
However, he sends her letters of how
horrible life is at Brotweiler. But is
life for Ike really that bad?
Mark Teague has created a dramatic
character in Ike LaRue. The
illustrations are terrific and the
story is great. Check out Ike's fate at
Brotweiler's in this humorous picture
book.
