Dogku is a picture book written in
haiku. When a stray dog shows
up on a family’s doorstep,they must
learn to adjust to the
antics of this playful creature.
Watch Mooch, the dog, as he goes
through
a day with his new family. Will they
keep him? A humorous tale of an
expressive dog who gets into mischief
throughout the day. Children will
love the colorful illustrations by Tim
Bowers which were completed using oil
paint and canvas. The haiku and the
illustrations can
each stand alone independently in this
story,
however together they compliment each
other.
