This is an entertaining story of Sung,
who is not afraid of anything. Picnics
in graveyards and napping in haunted
houses are mere pastimes to him, so
why be afraid? On a trip to a distant
village to visit a friend, Sung stays
in the village until nightfall. Sung's
friend advises him that he should spend
the night, but Sung will not
hear of it. Sung's friend is very
afraid for him because night visitors
often disappear! Sung journeys on
despite warnings from his friend and
encounters...THE GHOST!!! From that
point on The Man Who Tricked A Ghost
is a hilarious journey. Isadore
Seltzer's bold and vibrant illustrations
make this humorous folktale come
alive, and truly capture the color of
Chinese culture.
