Do you know someone who is always
getting in trouble? "Boy" sure did. In
the Cherokee folktale, Two Bad Boys
, Boy sees another boy beneath the
water's surface. The other boy turns
out
to be Boy's wild brother, "Wild Boy".
Wild Boy is nothing but trouble. One
day, Wild Boy talks his brother into
climbing a bee tree for some honey, but
Boy only gets bee stings for his
effort,
while Wild Boy eats all the honey. Read
this traditional folktale to find out
what happens when the boys go too far
by
entering the secret cave of their
father
Kenati, the hunter.
