David just cannot keep out of trouble!
He tracks mud in the house, makes too
much noise, and plays with his food.
And at bedtime, he jumps up and down on
his bed in a cape and mask until his
mother yells, "SETTLE DOWN!" What will
his mother say when she finds out he
broke her flower vase while playing
baseball in the house?! David and his
antics are featured in large, two-page
illustrations and the comical scenes
are accompanied by frustrated pleas
from David’s mother. Children will be
horrified while at the same time
delighted with David, and may see a
little of themselves in him as well.
