Three aunts, Etta, Coral, and Myrtle,
take care of an island. This is a
secret island where animals come from
far across the ocean to be taken care
of. Not seals and seabirds, but very
special creatures like mermaids and a
stoorworm, or wingless dragon. The
problem is that the aunts are getting
old and more animals are coming and
staying at the island. The aunts decide
they need help and only children will
do. So, they each decide to go to the
mainland to kidnap a child! Will the
aunts’ scheme work? Meet Minette,
Fabio, and the hateful Lambert in
Island of the Aunts, a
wonderful, magical adventure! And, by
the way, how do you care for a
stoorworm?
