Take one jive-talking hen who thinks
the sky is falling, her fowl friends,
and one mean Foxy-Loxy and you have
Jane Wattenberg's crazy rhyme and pun-
filled spin on this classic story.
After an acorn hits Henny-Penny on the
head, she runs off to tell the king
that the sky is falling down. On her
way she meets lots of other birds and a
fox who would like to eat them all for
dinner. As they travel to the king, the
birds pass the Egyptian pyramids, the
Tower of Pisa, the Taj Mahal, and other
famous sites in Wattenberg's wild photo
illustrations. Do Henny-Penny and her
friends make it to the king or do they
become the Fox's feast? Read this wacky
book and see for yourself!
