PLCMC Periodicals

The Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County maintains volumes of full-text magazines, newspapers, and journals at the Main library and the branches for patron use. Use our periodicals search tool to find out what full-text resources we have, and where they are available.

You may search our database of full-text resources in the following two ways:

• The PLCMC Complete Collection

  Search a compiled database of magazine and newspaper titles that are available full text through PLCMC via electronic databases, paper and/or microfilm. The database of over 15,000 titles is searchable by title and title keyword. Databases include NCLive, InfoTrac, Electric Library, and PLCMC’s print and microform collection.

• The PLCMC Paper / Fiche Collection

  A database of the periodicals carried in print and/or microform through out the PLCMC system. This database can be searched by title, title keyword, subject and/or location.
