Novello Festival of Reading

The Library’s Novello Festival of Reading, held each year in the fall, brings authors and readers together to celebrate books and reading. With plans for the 2009 Novello Festival uncertain due to budget constraints; the library has collaborated with Park Road Books in an effort to continue bringing quality authors to the community.

Through this special partnership, Dorothea Benton Frank, the author of many books including Sullivan’s Island, The Land of Mango Sunsets, and her latest, Return to Sullivan’s Island, will stop by the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County as part of her Harper Collins book tour in July. Tickets for this memorable event are available now.
