An Afternoon of Charlotte History With Mary Kratt
Mary Kratt, Charlotte historian and author, will speak about the history of the Queen City and her new book, Charlotte, North Carolina: a Brief History. Kratt is the author of 17 books of regional history, poetry, and biography.

Susan Vinson Sherlock, Hammered Dulcimer Artist
Join us as hammered dulcimer artist Susan Sherlock offers an understanding and appreciation of the music of the hammered dulcimer and its place in the folk tradition of the Southern Appalachians. Sherlock will perform several pieces.
