A Change is Gonna Come
Tangie, Sabrina, Bonnie Mae, and Cordelia have to come face to face with the emptiness in their lives at St. Paul Human services when they are faced with the tragedy of one of their coworkers. Tangie has two loves in her life: men and herself. Bonnie Mae is the mother of the group, and Sabrina pretends to be a friend but doesn't care who she hurts with her rumors. Cordelia, the deeply religious person, is the glue that holds the group together until she discovers that her teenage daughter is pregnant. She starts to question everything about herself and her faith. Thomas did an excellent job bringing these characters to life. Fast paced, highly recommended.
