Reviewer Spotlight
Name: Jeanenne
Branch: Steele Creek Branch
This month Reader's Club honors Jeanenne, who has written many wonderful reviews of young adult books for our Teen Corner. Jeanenne also writes reviews of children's books for our sister web site, Book Hive.
When asked what reading means to her, Jeanenne replied, "Reading is a literary escape for me. Whether it's a mystery with a dozen suspects or a humorous, contemporary novel with witty dialogue, I enjoy a book that I want to keep picking up and reading. As a child and teen, I read all the time for fun. In fact, one of my favorite places as a teen was the library. I would go over to the Myers Park or Morrison branch and browse while my sister had her turn learning from our piano teacher. I am no longer a regular piano player, but I still love to read! My parents were readers and, looking back, I see that reading in my family was an enjoyable habit."
Thanks for your many contributions to Reader's Club, Jeanenne!
