Reviewer Spotlight

This month Reader's Club salutes Jeff G. from North County Regional Library who is a faithful, and much appreciated, reviewer of sci fi, fantasy and horror fiction for Reader's Club. Here is what Jeff has to say about reading and reviewing books:
"If I had to choose between watching TV, listening to music, and reading, I would have to choose reading. Even though I would hate to give up the others, nothing passes the time like a good book. I really didn't start reading for enjoyment until I was a senior in high school. My Literature teacher introduced us to contemporary novels with The Dead Zone and I've been hooked ever since on tales of the supernatural. The Dark Tower series by Stephen King is one of my all time favorites. I also enjoy Anne Rice and too many other authors to name. The Bible is my preferred non-fiction. When I'm not thinking about this world, my mind is definitely on another!
When I write reviews, I try to entice the audience into reading the book without giving away the plot. Wondering what's going to happen next is what keeps me coming back for more. If I could change one thing, I wish I could get into more non-fiction. Then I could be a real brain!"
