Reviewer Spotlight
Name: Rachel
Branch: University City Regional
This month Reader’s Club salutes Rachel, a young adult librarian at University City Regional Library. She has reviewed books for adults and teens. Here is what she has to say about reading and writing reviews:
Reading has always been a passion of mine since I was young. I have always had lots of books around me and always got more from the library. I enjoy reading mysteries since they are always exciting and have twists and turns through out the story. Reading opens the mind to new places and ideas. It is always an adventure when you open a book.
Writing reviews is a great way to share titles and authors of books that maybe people haven’t heard of. It is fun to tell people about different books and to have a way to voice your opinion. I enjoy sharing ideas and books with people. Reading and writing reviews is one way to learn about what other people are reading and what is new and interesting in the world of books. It is always good to have an outlet where you can see what other people think about the books that are out there.
Thanks Rachel!
