He is an avid reader and frequent reviewer of both fiction and non-fiction. Here is what he has to share with us:

Like everyone else spotlighted here, I like reading and always have. My father got after me saying I'd ruin my eyes reading in the dim light when I was supposed to be in bed. I primarily read nonfiction particularly various areas of history(military especially) and music. However I never know when a particular topic will grab me and I'll be hunting for books on that topic.

I read fiction more for escape and always have a book at the ready for long lines, traffic jams, waiting rooms and late night insomnia. My interests run to historical and science fiction although I read any number of mysteries set in locales I'm familiar with. (Massachusetts and Florida). One last interest of mine is reading orchestral scores. I've always been fascinated by how composers utilize the instruments at their disposal and always complain about the underuse of the trombone.
