Name: Amy

Branch: Steele Creek Branch

This month Reader's Club recognizes Amy from Steele Creek Branch Library. She is a voracious reader and has reviewed fiction for adults and teens. Here are her thoughts on reading and writing reviews:

"I have been an avid reader since I was very young. My mother was a big influence, and introduced me to many great authors and series. I started reading at the age of 4, and haven't stopped since. My summers as a child were spent reading the Babysitters Club, Nancy Drew, and Trixie Belden.

I have read books in almost every genre, but my favorites are Romance and Fiction. My favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks, Debbie Macomber, Kristin Hannah, and Luanne Rice. The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks, Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah, and Between Friends by Debbie Macomber are my favorites.

Lately, I have been reading the Young Adult genre, and am enjoying it very much. The Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull is a favorite, the Harry Potter series of course I loved, and also Distant Waves: A Novel of the Titanic by Suzanne Weyn was very interesting.

If I really like a book, I always review it at Reader's Club so someone else will have the joy of reading the same great book."

Thanks, Amy!
