Lewis, C. S.(1955) The Chronicles of Narnia
Although technically classified as "children's literature," any adult with a child to whom he or she can read The Chronicles of Narnia aloud is in for a treat. Authored by one of the most brilliant writers of the Twentieth Century, Oxford University Professor C. S. Lewis, the Narnia Chronicles are actually seven books (often sold as a boxed set), the most famous of which is The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. This is fantasy at its very finest, combining great stories and compelling characters with rich, multi-level symbolism guaranteed to stimulate your mind and inspire your heart. As one who loves to read, and is typically reading several books at a time, I rank The Chronicles of Narnia among the two or three best reads of my entire life. Don't let yourself--or your children--miss them!

This series is my very favorite. I have read "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" many times, and I read the other books twice. My favorite of the books was "The Magician's Nephew."

This was a great book and I definitely recommend this book to anyone who can read! I always say that even if you've read a book once, read it again because you will see it in a whole new way. So if you have not read this book definitely read it!!!
