What if you woke up only to find that you were dead? Nick and Allie do not know one another until they are involved in a deadly car crash where they both lose their lives. Awakening together nine months later in the forest near the crash site, they still wear the clothes of the day they died. They feel like themselves but soon find that they no longer need to breathe, eat or sleep. They also can no longer feel pain except the hurt of the heart and the yearning for the life they have lost. It seems they are stuck between life and death like many other kids in Everlost. Life will never be the same now that they are dead.

I absolutely love this book! I've read a lot of books and Everlost definitely one of my all-time favorites. It's very interesting and really makes you think about what happens after death. This book is amazing! It's a must-read.

My friend began reading this and didn't really like it, however, I began reading it, and loved it so much I finished it just hours later! I thought it was very exciting and extremely interesting! Everlost is a great book, it has everything from love, to dangers, to adventure, to trust. and so much more! if you have'nt read Everlost... you better get on it or else you'll be missing out on a amazing book. I LOVE THIS BOOK.!!!! it kept making me want to read it more. The weird thing is I bought this book by accident and in the first place didn't want it but when I started reading it I absolutly loved it. I hope the movie comes out soon I read the book in 2008. I thought it was kind of sad how I thought allie and nick would end up togther and go to the living world together with lief(travis) but I just hope it comes out in a sequal of the book or the movie. I hope it comes out this year 2008.

This book was so amazingly suspenseful it was intense, heart wrenching and terrific. I read this book in one day it was so hard to put down. Even after I was done there was not one moment I was bored. This isn't a very predictable book like a lot of others this was a spectacular book! I would suggest this to everyone, I am now a big fan of Neal Shusterman.

I love this book. Out of all the books I read I actually finished this one....Take it from me it is very intresting and I wish it had pictures so I would be able to see how the characters look except the McGill. His crew would be funny to see though LOL..... This book is super awesome; it catches people's attention cause yeah its good.
