Koge-Donbo(2007)
Kon Kon Kokon, vol 1

Moving to Tokyo offers Ren a chance to be what he has always wanted to be: cool. No more will he be known as the country bumpkin who is obsessed with yokai, or supernatural beings. Everything is going according to plan and he’s even gotten his crush Himeka to notice him and then Kokon shows up. The mysterious little girl says she’s a fox yokai who owes Ren a favor, but, instead of helping him, she keeps getting him into embarrassing situations. This sweet, silly little manga combines softly rounded artwork, wacky plot devices, and a host of nutty monsters into a funny story perfect for a quick read. Cultural notes at the end explain some of the different types of yokai.
