Desert Places: a Novel of Terror

Desert Places is about a successful mystery writer, Andrew Thomas, who is perfectly content with his life on an isolated lake front parcel of land in North Carolina. One day he retrieves an innocent looking envelope from his mailbox. He first assumes that the frightening message inside was written by one of his fans until he realizes that it contains facts which could falsely implicate him in a murder. From that point on, Andrew's life becomes one long psychological and terrorizing nightmare. You'll find your palms sweating and your heart hammering, but you won't be able to stop reading because this book grabs you by the throat and just won't let go.
