Carlisle, Kate(2009)
Homicide in Hardcover

Brooklyn Wainwright is a bookbinder. Doesn't sound that exciting, but she enjoys it. When her mentor and former boss is given the project of a lifetime, a copy of Goethe's Faust, Brooklyn is slightly jealous but knows Abraham deserves it. However the book is said to be cursed and anyone who works with it, or on it, will die. When Abraham is murdered everyone thinks it's the curse. But when Brooklyn is accused of the murder she decides to take matters into her own hands. Will she find the killer? Or will the murderer find her?
